Heather Harlan Price is a highly accomplished Senior Mortgage Banker and the Managing Partner of Modern Mortgage, where she has devoted her professional life to guiding countless individuals and families on their journeys to homeownership. For Heather, facilitating this transition is not just a job; it is one of the most fulfilling aspects of her life. She has been in the industry since 2007, marking an almost 20 year career.

Her influence in the mortgage industry extends well beyond her role at Modern Mortgage. Heather served as the Vice President of Education for the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women for three consecutive years, from 2012 to 2015. During this pivotal period, she was instrumental in enhancing educational initiatives within the mortgage community in Austin, helping to elevate industry standards and practices. Her innovative approach to education earned her national acclaim when she was recognized as an Education Innovator in the mortgage sector in 2013.

In addition to her educational endeavors, Heather is the creative force behind the Modern Mortgage Flintstone Loan. A portion of the proceeds from every loan goes toward providing hundreds of thousands of Flintstone vitamins to children in Honduras.

In 2016, Heather was honored as one of the "40 Under 40" top mortgage professionals in the United States, a recognition that highlights her significant influence and contributions to the industry. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Heather has been happily married to Aland Price for 24 years. They are proud parents of two wonderful children: Pace, an energetic eight-year-old who is currently in the first grade at Faith Academy, and their daughter Emerson, a 16-year-old tenth grader at Faith as well. As the oldest of four siblings, Heather values family deeply. In her free time, she enjoys running and cooking, and she cherishes long, leisurely dinners surrounded by family and friends.
